Since I got the opportunity to try out the PC port for Sonic Unleashed, I was excited because not only I was gonna witness the nostalgia of a older Sonic game but also witness the gameplay style of the PS or XBOX visuals and playability. The development team did a tremendous job on making such a great port. I did get a bit confused as the downloads and the tutorial was complicated for me to understand but I did install the files for both the games and DLC contents.
The quality as well as the frame rate was such a great upgrade for a much more consistent gaming experience. Even getting to adjust the resolution, shadowing textures and the volumes too so I could hear the voice acting over the sound effects and music in the background. It may not be perfect but I seriously adore and admire the effort and dedication being put to making such a remarkable PC port. For me as a huge Sonic the Hedgehog fan, it's a 9/10.
My only slight criticism is that Sonic's running speed in the areas before heading to the next act or stage and looking for more medals or rings or record discs could be a bit faster. Overall I'm satisfied on how this port has turned out, it's definitely a must play and I recommend it to anyone who's up to try Sonic Unleashed Recompiled.
